My new fixture (fairly low-power single pendant light ) has a ground wire , but I just wrapped it around the grounding screw in the mounting bar. Your light fixture likely has three wires … two of these are what you will wire to the plug, and the third is a copper ground wire. Usually if you are wiring a regular fixture you match the black to black wires and white to white… but in this case my plug in came with two white wrapped wires so I didn’t have that colour guidance. Attach the ground wire from the junction box by twisting it around the green ground screw on the mounting bracket. Attach the bare wire from the house to the bare wire from the light fixture. Attach the white wires from the house and the white wires from the light fixture.
Find great deals on eBay for wire light fixture. I think think there is a grounding stake or wire (or whatever you call it) outside in the ground , but not sure if it connnects to this light fixture ? Also, the breaker panel has been redone ~ And the new light fixture has this yellow insulation? There will likely be a small screw for this purpose on the fixture , which you can unscrew slightly, slot the wire into the gap between screw and fixture , and then tighten to fasten your ground.
Be sure your ground wire feeds to a place it can safely disperse an electrical current.
