Funny thing is thats a unilite module. I started going through modules on a semi annual basis. So old fart Old farts racing team told me to check my ignition primary wires. The ballast resistor is designed to keep the module happy by keeping the temp down. The engine is a Rover V(Buick 215).


I have had this same setup for years and it has been totally bullet proof.
