Cedar beadboard

Readily takes paint or stain for a custom look. Cedar beadboard

Wood siding has been a staple of the Heartwood Mills business for since day one. The kits include premium MDF bead board panels and solid Poplar Top Cap and Base Moldings. Traditional beadboard is produced from lightweight softwoods such as pine or cedar.


Wood beadboard panels are made from medium-density fiberboard. Usually we think of ceilings as a plaster, drywall or tile finish, but if you wanted a unique look you could use cedar paneling. Move the beadboard outdoors or into a garage. Lay a plastic tarp flat on the ground and place the beadboard on top of it. If the beadboard is already installed on a wall, remove the bottom molding with a crowbar, then lay the plastic tarp on the floor under the beadboard.
