Re: wiring in dual electric fans If you want to have them kick on at different times (temps), you would have to wire them independent of each other, using two different thermostatic switches. Fourth and the most time consuming you’ll now have to wire up the fans ! This is going to all depend on the type of wiring kit you purchased. I just finished running all of the wires for my dual fan set up. I used relays to run my fans. I have not installed them yet, and plan on doing a write up on them once I am finished. I am just under $1for everything.
I did have the wires to run everything though. For example, you might want to turn on a bathroom light separately from the ceiling fan. Need some help wiring up my relay! Wired it up and it worked with no problem, or so I thought.
