Pine muhly

Muhlenbergia dubia Muhlenbergia dubia Fourn. Plant a large collection of pine muhly near the edge of a hard surface to add airy texture year-round. For Northerners who pine for Muhly Grass, this one’s creeping closer—it’s hardy to Zone 5. It is native to Florida and the eastern half of the United States. The grass is known for its pink to purple inflorescences which float above the body of the plant in an airy display worthy of a fairy princess.
